MikroTik hAP lite (RB941) and hAP mini (RB931) boards are now accepted as NAS hardware. Provisioning used to check the board's architecture before anything else and abort every smips device with "not supported by Centipid. Please use a different model." — the router never got as far as the RouterOS version check.
That refusal dated from when the management mesh ran on WireGuard only, which these boards could not reliably join. The fleet runs on SSTP now, and everything an SSTP router needs — the SSTP client, RADIUS, API, SNMP and hotspot config — runs on smips.
Limited support
Support covers the SSTP management transport, which is what new routers get by default.
Nothing about the hardware itself changed. These are entry-level boards; size the subscriber load you put behind one accordingly.
