KiboNet is now in the SMS marketplace. Tanzanian operators can connect KiboNet under Settings → Communications → SMS with an API key, API secret and sender ID. The provider page shows the remaining SMS credit, and each message's delivery status is polled from KiboNet rather than assumed at send time.
NextSMS has been repaired. NextSMS had never delivered a message from Centipid. Numbers were sent with the 255 country code twice, NextSMS rejected them as invalid destinations, and because it answers with HTTP 200 even on a reject, Centipid recorded them as delivered. Sends now use the correct MSISDN, success is read from the vendor's own status rather than the HTTP code, the real message ID is stored, delivery is polled, and failures are logged instead of being silently swallowed. The remaining NextSMS credit is now shown on the provider page.
Both gateways serve Tanzania only and appear for accounts whose country is set to Tanzania.
